When James discusses his work in the department, he is very thankful to be a man who makes things one can touch: "Carpentry is productive and useful in many ways as we are able to [make furniture], roofing, and bridging. The goal I wish to accomplish in the department this year is adding carpentry activities to increase productivity in the community and for students." James was hired in 2016 and he aims to assist in providing donors and setting up new projects like fish farming and food production. He's currently involved in outside projects which he hopes to introduce in the future.
In the coming years he would like to manage as a self-employed community advisor for development projects. He also seeks to work more directly with the management team to link local opportunities with Bududa Learning Center.
