Kashif is studying International Development at McGill University. A bundle of spontaneous joy, Kashif charmed the local Ugandan staff while in Bududa learning Lugishu before everyone else. He made friends wherever he travelled! He co-taught the Performing Arts class with Kimberly Beebe for older students, and Story-Telling for younger children. His work as a diligent intern was rewarded by acting as an assistant in the foremost latter stages of a contract award with client Wagagai. His work in handling logistics challenges was particularly noticed by the team. His cultural sensitivity was clearly an asset as part of the Monitoring & Evaluation toolbox the entire intern team worked on with management. Kashif is also active as a member of the McGill student leadership team and has worked as a children's camp counsellor for many summers over the years. His travels through India informed a lot of his cultural awareness on this trip; he's told us that working in development as a NGO worker may be in his future after graduation. We can't wait to hear more!
