Samali is the vice principal of academics for BVA and assists George Kutosi with exam distribution for all departments. She's also the head teacher of one of the highest-performing departments at BVA - nursery education. She asserted the needs of the teachers and her students come first: "With the nursery department, I train teachers to be in early childhood development and childcare. I prepare students to sit for exams from Ndelle University. I provide administrative duties more so in academics to ensure that the exams move on smoothly and students pass well. I hope to pass [more] students who are competent socially, morally, spiritually, and academically." In the overall management of Bududa Learning Center, Samali told us more specifically about the executive director and international staff she has worked with: "I am [glad to know] Barbara Wybar as a director with such a giving heart. I am proud of meeting different people like new teachers, students, volunteers, and visitors. Being deputy principal and head of my department makes me feel proud."
Samali has previously been instrumental in assisting medical teams who offer complimentary consultations, medical treatment and wound care. In the future, she hopes to continue this important work as a team. Samali is also a local pastor in the Bududa Anglian church, socializing regularly with women and young girls. "I [reach] the community in counseling and guidance for the [generation of youth]. In the near future, I hope to construct the community church youth clubs to help discover their talents."
